The report indicates that a data breach incident occurred against the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) agency responsible for White House communication and security management. Social Security Number and identity information associated with government employees seem to get exposed.
The Defense Information System Agency (DISA), part of DoD, is in charge of information technology and telecommunications management for President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and other senior army members in the area of the U.S. secret service.
The response from DISA in regards to the data breach incident was minimum, explaining the attack occurred between May to July 2019 against the hosted system. DISA did not mention further breach details nor the information about the impacted individuals.
A comment requested to the White House yet has not been responding.
